Cite Cosme Beuaty Award

number76 was invited to Cite Cosme Beauty Award which is held at RedBox Karaoke, The Gardens on 21 May 2013. Our team was there for the hair demo of its opening show & make-up service for the host of the day, Peipei Jiang 蔣珮珮.

Hikky (for hairdo) and Kim (for make-up) was doing the preparation work for the host  the backstage

The host has to cover her face with a mask on stage until she is “completed” with her final look :D

Hikky, from Mont Kiara branch on the left & Kim, from Bangsar & Mid Valley branch with Peipei Jiang, Malaysia experienced host.

And we also had the privilege to meet up with the special guest of honor all the way from Taiwan, famous Beauty King of Taiwan, Niu Er 牛爾.

Our make-up stylist, Kim is the super fan of Niu Er. She was excited to have a chance to take a close up photo with him. :D We felt honor to receive good comments from him on the work (hairdo & makeup) that both Kim and Hikky did.

Fairytale Lingerie Fashion Show

Wonder if anyone of you manage to attend the XIXILI Fairytale Lingerie Fashion Show last night on 18 April?

number76 was the hair sponsor for the show! Yes, the theme is Fairytale with all the good and evil characters.

As the show was held in Mid Valley Mega Mall, the hair preparation for 10 models was done at our nearest salon located at Mid Valley North Point.

The team are paying full attention to the details as they are getting the “Princesses” ready for the show! Every SINGLE details!

The pretty models with their costume & hairdo on the catwalk stage! Have you seen such a sexy looking Cinderella’s stepmother before? :D Her hairstyle took our stylist the longest time to complete but it does make her character stands out, isn’ it? And next to her is the sweet looking Cinderella.

Sweet & Sexy Cinderella

Closer look of the Ursula’s “corn head”!

She really has the innocent little red riding hood looks! But it goes well with her sexy costume though.

Queen of heart’s hairstyle is made out of her original hair, but not wig! Our stylist is really amazing!

Ending the post with the 3 characters with the most challenging & interesting hairdo (as voted by the stylists team!)

It was a really good & fun experience for the whole team, especially for the male stylists! :D They were so excited to know that it was a lingerie fashion show!

How often do you get to watch this kind show, and they got the chance to be able to stay at backstage with the models and being so close to them?! Haha.. but the team really put in a lot of effort for days and nights of practicing and preparation works for this show!

New Branch is Opened at Bangsar!

number76 has finally opened a third branch in Kuala Lumpur!

This third branch is located at Bangsar Telawi Square, Jalan Telawi 3. It’s at the corner shoplot opposite of Bangsar Village II. Acorss the road opposite of Hon Leong Bank & Paparich.We’re on level 2 inside the shoplot.

The interior design of this 3rd branch is slightly different from the other two branches. It is vintage looking with a lot of wood used in the design.

For those of who are not familiar with Bangsar Baru. Here is the address,

Gambaro KAMAISHI!

As many of you may recalled, there was a terrible earthquake which happened Mar 11, 2011 in Japan.
There are many victims who are still struggling with to rebuilt their home and their lost of family members.

KAMAISHI was one of the places in Japan which is heavily damaged during the disaster happened. To show your support to the victims in KAMAISHI, we urge all of you to join us with KAMAISHI Support Project to do a simple gesture~
Hold this message board & take a picture with a smile or any of your “Gambaro” pose!

number76 will be supporting this by randomly asking our valued members/ customers who visit us during these few days to support this charity event by doing the above simple gesture! がんばろう釜石

昨年、バンコク、シンガポールと続いたファッションウィークの仕事で、
桂由美チームとご一緒しました。

アクセサリーのデザイナーをしている方が釜石出身の方で、ワークショッ
プを開催するなど、被災地の方々の支援を行っていると伺いました。

2011年３月11日に起こった震災に対し、外国に住むもとのして、その距離
を埋めることは容易ではなく、時間の経過と共に振り返る機会すら少なく
なってきていたのが、そのときの偽らざる心情でした。

デザイナーさんは１枚のメッセージボードを作成し、いろんな場所で人々
に協力を依頼し、写真に収まっていただいたそうです。

Vivi Star Search Fashion Show

There was a Vivi Star Search fashion show held at Butter Factory, KL on last day of January, 31. number76 had the privilege of being the official hair salon sponsor for that night.

The team (Hikky, Suky & Fung from Mont Kiara branch together with Steve & Kim from Mid Valley branch) are getting the girls ready for the show.

Fung, one of our cutest assistant is smiling for the camera even when he is busy styling the model’s hair.

Suky, one of the most helpful & skillful assistants in action!

Kim, our make-up artist was there to help out with the make-up for the models too! Come look for her to get your make-up for any occasion at Mid Valley branch!

Love the ribbon braiding hairstyle done by Hikky in just 10 minutes time!

For some of you who noticed, Steve didn’t get a close-up picture, as he had his wisdom tooth extracted on the very same afternoon! Don’t worry he still look good without the “tooth”! lol!

Special make-up by Kim & mermaid hairdo by Fung! And one of the winners for the Star Search, Xin Wei.

The finalists are cam-whoring while waiting to be dressed up for the show! The girls are looking so “youthful” and cute with their cat’s ears & wavy hairstyles!

Finally the show has started after a few hours of preparation at backstage! number76 logo appearing on the screen while the girls are cat-walking on stage.

The crowd was cheering for their favorite girls. Were you there that night with us? The team had a fun drinking and dancing session after the show, which we can’t show you the pic here! :D

Houte Couture Fashion Week (HCW) 2012 at Singapore

Co-founder/ Chairman of number76 was at Singapore to attend the Houte Couture Fashion Week 2012.

Masaki-san, Co-founder/ Chairman of number76 (between two models) who is also the “Director & Strategic Advisor for Japan” was invited to the stage while Frank Cintamani, chairman of HCW 2012 (with the microphone) during his speech to thank him and the team for making this event a successful one!

The event took place at Marina Sands Bay, Singapore.

Japanese designers : SOMARTA, Yumi Katsura, Junko Shimada

Introduction of Yumi Katsura, the famous Japanese designer of ready-wear and haute couture bridal gowns.

Beautiful gorgeous bridal gowns designed by Yumi Katsura. So sweet & glamorous!

Our stylist, Hikky also tagged along to witness the event herself. She is looking so happy next to Yumi Katsura. Who doesn’t right?
